Three
Guys Raising Money for Furry 4-Legged Friends!
Bags
for Wags is run by three guys looking to give
back to the Charlotte Community by assisting local
animal organizations with their fundraising endeavors
and helping educate the public on the need for
spay/neuter and improved welfare of animals.
We recently held our first charity cornhole tournament outside of the Charlotte region, in Atlanta, GA. Since 2009, we have raised over $22,300 for animal charities in the Charlotte and Atlanta communities. We look forward to doing more for our furry friends and the organizations who support them. We hope to see you at our next tournament!

If you have an animal rescue organization and would like for us to consider your organization for future tournaments please email us at info@bagsforwags.org.

Jon
Littlepage
Originally from
the small town of Greenville, KY and a
8 year Air Force Veteran. I have been living
in Charlotte with my wife, Cindy, and our 5 rescued dogs
and 1 cat since 2002. We started to notice a majority of
the animal fund-raisers in Charlotte were
geared more to ladies so we decided to step up
and try to change that perception -- Bags for Wags
was born and we have not looked back since.
I truly love giving back to the community
and making a difference in any animals life
no matter how big or small. I hope to see you at our next event! |

I’m a dog person who wanted to raise
funds to help dogs but didn’t know
what to do. Most fundraisers I knew about
weren’t really for men. Jon Littlepage,
Mike Hebert and I brainstormed up an idea
to raise funds to help dogs and have a manly
man fundraiser, something guys would like
to go do. Thinking that guys like the tailgating
game of Corn Hole, Cold Beer and the Thirsty
Beaver Saloon, the idea for Bags for Wags
was born! I enjoyed everything about the
tournament and giving back to the community.
Its something special to see all the generosity
out in the community and knowing I helped
play a part in helping dogs.
I moved here from Seattle in 2000 with my wife, Becky, and dog, Clyde, and have been here ever since. |

Hebert
Originally from Beverly, Massachusetts I
have called Charlotte home for the past six
years.Currently living in uptown Charlotte
with my wife Sarah and our two rescue dogs
(Clarkson - a Jack Russell mix rescued from
a kill shelter and Oscar - an 8 lb Chihuahua
rescued from Charlotte's mean streets).
A lifelong dog lover, I have always wanted
to find an interesting and fun way to help
dogs in need. Collaborating with Jon and
Lee resulted in Bags for Wags which is a
fun event for all that benefits a great
cause.
